Saturday 14th – Start of National Archaeology Week

Hey guys! I’m now on Bryher after getting on the boat from St Martins, I like the island but it feels different. We went to St Agnes cricket pitch today – that was the last island that people live on here that i hadn’t visited. We were using special gadgets which can see through the soil and tell us what archaeology may be hidden underneath the soil.

It went ok – the machines we used are very tricky but everyone has to learn new things sometimes! We were very pleased it stayed sunny but tommorrow it’s suppossed to be stormy so that might change!

We’re in the new campsite and all settled in now, i’m going to continue the work today n St Agnes tommorrow.  It’s also National Archaeology Week so make sure you all pop down to see us if you can. We’re very happy to talk to any of you who would like to say hello! We’ll be there from around 10am to 5pm – maybe see some of you then!
